Implimentation of user security model

Is there anything on the roadmap for implementing a richer user security model? I am thinking of frameworks like passport so that users can choose any authentication provider or roll their own using the frame work.

Anything like that planned?

I am afraid that's not in the current roadmap but I will be happy to discuss approaches if you feel like contributing.

What options are you looking at for security. I am slowly building a home dashboard with integration to cameras, OpenHAB and other items using the framework. To simplify exposing it to the web I was looking at integrating passport in to the server so users could more simply setup any security system they need.
