cannot create login page (with basic username / password) before display the dashboard

i am working on the atlassian board. i need to authorize user before getting the dashboard.

i cannot add the login page before displaying the whole dashboard.

can someone help? or please provide the step to do or to work-around.

Hi, We implement this with a Httpd front end, it provides us the Single Sign On as well.

The use of a front-end has impact on the code, it is a software that runs in front of atlasboard which request login/password and sends back a authentication cookie. Httpd or nginx are candidates for this job.
