Unable to run openapi-diff

I downloaded the latest version of openapi-diff npm module (npm install openapi-diff --save-dev); it creates node_modules with all the dependencies but when I run openapi-diff command with source and destination files it fails with “command not found” error. I tried with previous versions as well and I get the same error. I tried on two different laptops but I get the same error. Please advise.
