4.0.2 of this plugin does not seem to be working with 6.3.0 of Bitbucket

Issue #36 invalid
Maikel Bloemendal created an issue

Last week we updated our instance of Bitbucket from version 5.16.0 to 6.3.0 and since then the unapproval feature doesn’t seem to work. (after adding commits, the approval/needs work review isn’t removed)

Is there a way for me to enable logging to see what is happening?

Unapproval of review seems to work after disabling and enabling the plugin. It is strange however that there is only 1 disapproval message for 2 unapproved reviewers.

In a test with a single reviewer, there is no message about unapproval

    Hi @Maikel Bloemendal ,

After a major upgrade, we disable all plugins:

Upgrading from a version older than Bitbucket 6 disables all user-installed apps on startup

    https://confluence.atlassian.com/bitbucketserver/bitbucket-server-upgrade-guide-776640551.html

Is it possible that the plugin was disabled from this and needed to be re-enabled?

Secondly, in the screenshot you have posted the second user seems to have marked the pull request as ‘needs work' which means that after a push to the branch the ‘needs work’ status is removed automatically so there is no ‘Unapprove’ activity in the activity stream.

Hope that helps. I’m going to go ahead and close this bug but please feel free to respond if I haven’t answered your concerns and it can be reopened.

    Regards,

    Kristy

    Hi @Kristy Hughes ,

Thank you for your response. I already enabled the plugin after the update, so that wasn’t the issue.

I wasn’t aware that needs-work states were automatically removed by bitbucket. I accept the closure of this issue.
