Account Deactivated Are you sure you're not running an older version? I just started up a new Confluence instance, downloaded the obr from Marketplace and installed it and got:
-
reporter As you can see in the screenshot Confluence, is believeing that 1.7 is installed. I rebooted the whole Confluence server to be sure that everything is started fresh.
But still no "Base URL" field. :-(
-
reporter I just downloaded the confluence-hipchat-1.7.obr from the Marketplace and manually uploaded it to Confluence. No change. The "Base URL" field is still missing.
-
reporter What I didn't mention was: Previously 1.6.1 was installed, so it was an update. We use the HipChat plugin for quite a while now.
-
reporter I just installed the HipChat Plugin to a completely different Confluence instance (of a Customer), where the plugin wasn't installed before. Same result: No "Base URL" filed.
That Confluence is also of version 5.4.2. but running on a OpenSUSE linux.
So it looks like it's not a problem related to our Confluence instance.
-
reporter I know, it's the wrong place here, but maybe it's related: The same problem exist for JIRA (at least 6.1.6).
-
reporter Other user confirmed the problem (see help.hipchat.com).
In JIRA the "Base URL" field will apear, if you add {{?btf=true}} to the HipChat plugin configuration URL. But in Confluence it does not help.

reporter Fine. Thanks.

Account Deactivated Fixed in 1.7.1. Turns out that we were requiring a devMode flag in order for the form field to show up.
