Limit units of karma transactions per user to a finite value per day

It's really easy for someone to abuse karma by increasing/decreasing by large amounts in a single command. For example, "thing++ thing++ .... and so on". It would be nice to have a limit or replenish ability to decrease/increase karma after a specific amount of time has passed.

For example, each user gets 5 units of karma transactions per day, if he/she has used all of them up, then they further transactions are NO-OPs.

Please let me know if this sounds reasonable to you.

I do like this idea, and have been considering something similar. It's probably the sort of thing that should be made configurable in a config ui. If I can get time to circle back and add a config ui, adding would probably be at the top of the list of features for it.
