Chris Marrin created an issue 2019-05-02

When you merge from the VS Code extension, branches are not deleted from Bitbucket afterwards. The “delete branch” checkbox was check when creating the PR from VS Code

@Chris Marrin I just tested this with a couple of PRs, on with the checkbox checked and one without - and it worked as expected for me with extension version 1.2.3.

It might be possible that the checkbox might have been reset before pull request was created. Please let us know if it happens again.
