Disable notifications for Jira tasks

Issue #154 resolved
Wesley Queiroz created an issue

I’m being flooded with notifications of atlascode with my Jira account because it notifies about any change on any task. It doesn’t filter to anything and neither can be disabled in any way.
In the “Atlassian: Settings” page ther is no option to disable notifications.

The ideal would be setting a custom JQL to listen for notifications so I could change for what changes I care about to be notified.

You can set the refresh interval to 0 for Jira explorer in Atlassian: Settings to disable the notifications. You would have to click the refresh button on the explorer to check for new issues, but this should disable the notification pop-ups.

Let me know if that works or if you are expecting a separate setting for refresh and notifications.

I’ll give this a try during this week and see how it will impact my workflow.
I’ll let you know soon if this works for me.
    Thanks in advance.

Just found this while looking for a way to disable new Jira issue notifications. I will use your workaround, but there really should be a way to disable notifications without having to disable auto-refresh.

For me the workaround was enough to stop me from getting overwhelmed with notifications, but I still lack the notifications for my board.
I do wanna get notifications for a specific board, but do not want to get notifications for the entire product.
About notifications and refresh being separated I think it could be better if it was two settings instead of one.

I think we should address this cases.

I'm available to give any feedback needed.

This functionality has been refreshed in version 2.0.0. You can now enable/disable notifications for individual JQL filters.
