Jira and Bitbucket for VSCode 2.0.0 authentification error

I can’t log in our cloud account, it was working fine before updating.

Tried every log in / log out permutation, every browsers nothing works

We have released version 2.0.1 to the VS Code Marketplace which should resolve this issue.

If nothing else, it should at least give you a proper error message.

Let me know how it goes.

Same problem,

Update: not working

Deinstall/reinstall: not working

Remove cookies: not working

change browser: -----------

But the message changed a bit:

Error authenticating with bbcloud: Error: unable to get issuer certificate
Give it a moment and try again.

In VSCode it’s the same error mesage

Hmmm. By chance are you going through as proxy or have you installed a self-signed-cert for anything? I’m just trying to figure out what could be causing this.

Hi Jonathan,

No proxy no weird certificates

I deleted all cookies, uninstalled the plugin log out from the cloud and reboot…

Reinstall the plugin

Now it’s working. Thanks you for your help

Awesome! Glad you got it working… I guess the old tech support answer of “please reboot” still works sometimes
