No way to view commit message while looking at a change in pull request

Issue #33 on hold
Sean Irving created an issue

It would be helpful in larger pull request to see the commit message associated with a change in the diff file. Having this information easily available so you can help determine the reason for unusual changes in a pull request that contains multiple commits.

    Hi Sean,

Thanks for your suggestion. Correct me if I'm wrong, but it sounds like you're asking for something similar to "Current line blame" features of extensions such at GitLens.

While this feature would definitely be useful, this sort of feature leans more towards the "Git extension" side of things than the "Atlassian extension" side of things, so I don't think it's likely that we'd get to this soon.

That said, there is an open issue in the GitLens repository to add support to diffs generated from the GitHub extension. We'd need to do more research to determine whether a potential fix for the GitHub extension would also work with the Atlassian extension, but that issue might be a good place to continue this discussion.

    Thanks,
    Alastair
