Start work: Local branch name is ignored unless I press the checkmark button

1. Go to a Jira issue
2. Press “Start work”
3. Click into the “Local branch” field
4. Type a branch name (don’t press the checkmark button)
5. Press “Start“

Expected result: The branch name I have typed is used.

Actual result: The default branch name is used, not what I have typed.

I understand the field was designed to be confirmed with the checkmark button, but the behavior is unexpected and confusing.

Update: And it’s really annoying when I forget to click the checkmark button several times in a row.
