Jira "Start work" results in "'transition' identifier must be an integer"

Steps to reproduce

1. Open issue in VS Code.
2. Select “Start Work” button at top right.
3. Click “Start” button at the bottom.
4. Receive error:

Something went wrong
'transition' identifier must be an integer
