Previous successful login to custom site fails after update (2.4.0)

Since the update to Plugin Version 2.4.0 the login to a custom Jira site fails.
In the previous version the login was successful with identical login information.
The error messages in the Output view are the following:

I love the Plugin btw!
Thanks for the work.

Hi Benjamin,
Could you update the extension to version 2.4.1 and let us know if that fixes the issue? (You may have to run
Extensions: Check for Extension Updates
from command palette or restart VS Code to see the update)
