Atlassian for VS Code, Images not showing in tickets

Bitbucket Plugin on VS Code, Images not showing in tickets.
When we view issues in VS Code, using the Atlassian plugin, the images don't appear, and we only see a broken images box (see attached screenshot) for both attached and inline images, Same with images in comments.
Attachments can't be accessed either.
It's a known issue and hasn't been addressed yet.

This issue is labelled NEW but is dated from 2020, are there any plans to work on this? Thanks!
