I want to quickly know on which ticket plan to work on next.
Therefore it would be nice if I could order my tickets (preferably by drag and drop) so I can work on them one after the other.

reporter I was aware of the orderby possibility and tried to miss use some fields to make that happen but the idea with a new group sounds promising thanks for the hint

This is behavior achievable with a new group

The tickets in the
Jira Issues
explorer are displayed in the order they’re received based on the associated JQL. You can change the order they’re received in with theOrder By
clause, or if you want done issues to move out of that group you can filter issues byStatus
. Perhaps what you’re asking for is to create something like a group called “Plan” and to be able to drag tickets into this “Plan” in the order you want?
