Unable to authenticate Bitbucket with VS Code

I am getting an error as shown in the screenshot below when trying to authenticate Bitbucket with VS Code.

Extension Version - 2.7.0

VS Code Version - 1.48.0

OS - Windows 10 Enterprise

    Adding this ("http.proxySupport": "off") to the settings.json has helped me overcome this issue.
