Cannot authenticate to custom server

I’ve installed this extension (v2.8.5) today, but I cannot connect to our company servers (which I also happen to manage).

The error I get is: Error authenticating with (Jira|Bitbucket): Error: Request failed with status code 400. This suggests a malformed request? We’re not using a context root and the path is the same one I can use with curl from the command line (and same user account) with no errors.

I’m using:

• macOS Catalina 10.15.6
• VSCode 1.49.2
• Jira Data Center 8.7.1
• Bitbucket Data Center 6.10.5
