Internet connection required for plugin configuration

After downloading and installing the VSIX package, the plugin fails to run initial configuration as it requires some resources from the internet. This defeats the whole purpose of VSIX files. This plugin is useless in most corporate environments where developers are only limited to local intranet and have limited internet access.
The extension requires the RedHat YAML plugin to work. If you download and install that extension the Atlassian extension will work without a connection to the internet.
