Can latest (2.8.5) VSIX version be built and uploaded to repo downloads?

I am attempting to work with Eclipse Che repo maintainers to get this shipped in a way that will work for redhat codeready / eclipse che / etc. They require pre-build VSIX modules.

I know these are available on the visual studio marketplace, but microsoft terms preclude a direct download there. I would prefer not to build this myself because Eclipse will seek an authoritative source.

I see a few downloads on the atlascode repo page, but they are all custom fixes. Can the build pipeline be updated to host the result vsix or can the latest release be posted?

I am seeking the recent auth changes.
