Jira Issue blank error when completing certain field

VS Code Version: 1.53.2

Jira extension: 2.8.5

When creating a new Jira issue, as soon as I attempt to type in the “Zendesk Ticket Number” custom field, the tab goes completely blank. All other fields can be filled in with no issues other than this one.

The error thrown in the developer tools is:
