Error merging pull request: Cannot read property 'repository' of undefined

When attempting to merge an approved pull request, this error appears in VS code. The pull request remains unmerged, and the merge must be completed directly on the Bitbucket website.

I’m also experiencing this issue. The merge happens successfully on Bitbucket online but the error shows up in VScode.

I have similar error. Can’t merge online, also in VS Code. The website repository just tell me to solve merge conflicts but don’t show me the especific error, and VS Code show me: <Error merging pull request
