Only 3 repositories showing when creating a new branch

Issue #62 resolved
Taylor Moss created an issue

When I create a new branch off of a new ticket it only shows 3 of my 8 branches in the dropdown. I have all 8 showing up in git and under my “bitbucket pipelines” but only 3 show up in my option to create a new branch

@taylormosspig From the screenshot you shared it looks like the drop down in question is actually for the Repository not the branch.

The repository drop down shows up when you have more than one project open in your workspace with more than one repo associated.

You should be able to choose the repo and then see all of it’s branches list in the Source branch drop down.

    Does this help?

@{557057:3695b794-cde3-43a2-99aa-c0fc6151b754} Yes that was my bad in wording, I have 8 REPOSITORIES in my Atlasssian suite, all of them are setup in Jira and Bitbucket. I am trying to select the REPO to pick my branch. All branches show up on the 3 Repos that do work, but only 3 of my 8 show up in that list.

I have the same problem. I have vscode open in a git module that has several submodules. Only some of these submodules are seen by atlscode (the submodules are missing from the “Bitbucket Pull Requests” sidebar and from the drop down menu on the “Start work on” page.

@{557057:3695b794-cde3-43a2-99aa-c0fc6151b754} Is it possible to rename this issue so it’s says “Not all repositories showing” ?

I have an issue where only one repository is showing in the extension but my team have a lot of them (30+).

Only the latest repository that we created is showing up there. I compared it’s settings with other repositories and nothing seems different there.

EDIT: So of course the plugin only shows PRs/branches/pipeline for the repository that you have open in VSCode 🤦‍♂️
So it’s all good, Thanks for finally shipping this we have been waiting for it for a long time 👍

Just to comment after @{557058:8aeb1b0f-5fd4-46ee-818c-fe2d0173871b} 's comment. This is NOT the case for me, mine always grabs the top 3 repos (alphabetically) regardless of what I have or don’t have open.

@taylormosspig Just for clarity, you’re saying that if you open a VSCode workspace with folders open for 8 different repos, you only see the top 3 in the dropdown?

@taylormosspig Can you check if version 1.4.0 of the extension fixes this issue?

Closing due to lack of activity. Please re-open if you still see this happening with the latest version of the extension.
