JQL custom search with Development subscript properties [pullrequests, branches, commits, builds, deployments, reviews]

Issue #812 new
Jeremy Fiel created an issue

I’m having an issue creating a custom JQL because there appears to be a bug in the JQL syntax validator when using Development properties. The first bracket [ is throwing a syntax error but there’s no information on how to escape it or if that’s even necessary.

This is preventing me from creating additional custom searches for our workflow.

This is the message I’m getting in VSC

Something went wrong

Error in JQL Query: Expecting either a value, list or function before the end of the query.

These two issues explain the same bug directly in Jira.
