I find this really handy. I'd like to see it updated to work with the current version. If it has bend updated it's not clear how to get the update.

I'm glad you're finding the add-on useful. The current version should be usable with FishEye 3.6 without any changes. I've updated the Atlassian Marketplace listing to match that.
