Tohru HANAI created an issue 2013-07-20

On Mac, when I copy Markdown text from other text editor and paste into the macro area, all indents and empty lines in the text will be removed. On Windows, indents will be kept but empty lines are not.

Empty lines are lost as a result of: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CONF-28582 The workaround is to use the API.
