Only the creator of a poll or maybe an admin should be able to manually stop voting / close poll

At the moment it seems that anybody can (accidentally) close a poll.

    Agreed - just put a vote out to 100 users twice and I never get above 20 votes before someone clicks stop poll

    Also as a work around it would be nice to be able to reopen a poll that was accidentally closed

    Regretfully, changes in Polly's hosting mean that it will be shutting down in August 2017. In order to keep it running I would have to invest significant time, which I simply don't have. Thanks for using Polly, and I hope that it was useful.

    Polly's hosting arrangement has been saved, so you can keep polling to your hearts' content. There will be no shut-down.
