Update configuration via REST?

Hi, It would be really convenient if there was a simple REST API provided so that setting the configuration could be automated. We spin up new Staging/Dev instances on weekly basis and these instances are re-configured with this plugin to distinguish themselves. As of today we have a manual step re-configuring the Staging/Dev instances

I have been searching in the DB as well but cannot find any config data from this plugin so I guess this is stored someplace else
