Issue #89 new

[Windows] Input is not remembered/used

DaVince
created an issue

While wxMupen64Plus has options to set the input, these settings are not saved. So even if I set up the program to use Z for B and X for A, it will use Ctrl and Shift any way. Also, when I go back to the Input editor after having tried out the game, these settings have been reverted to the default.

Also, when I set it to use a joystick, it will give the following warning:

12:30:16: [Input] Warning : N64 Controller #1: SDL joystick name 'USB Joystick ' doesn't match stored configuration name 'AutoKeyboard'
12:30:16: [Input] Warning : N64 Controller #1: Disabled, SDL joystick 0 is not available
12:30:16: [Input] Warning : N64 Controller #2: Disabled, SDL joystick 1 is not available
12:30:16: [Input] Warning : N64 Controller #3: Disabled, SDL joystick 2 is not available
12:30:16: [Input] Warning : N64 Controller #4: Disabled, SDL joystick 3 is not available
    12:30:16: [Input] Warning : No joysticks/controllers found

I know the UI does save the controls, so now I need to figure why the core won't reload them next time mupen is opened. THhanks for the report

Same exact problem with Mac OS X. In addition, input warnings appear upon opening the app.

  4. ??? ???

I think the problem has something to do with mupen64plus itself. When I reverted to v. 0.2, I had the same problem, which means something is wrong with the core itself. I've sent a report. (I attempted to run 0.3 on 1.99.4, and while it failed to run any roms due to API issues, I did not get the opening prompt that DaVince mentioned above)

  5. ??? ???

Got this as a response when I sent in the report: "Please update wxmupen64plus to the newest hg version"

    What's that supposed to mean?
