revid: add "Suppress" variable for controlling logger suppression

Saxon Milton created an issue

To control logger suppression for debugging purposes would be useful. The logger package on the utils repo now provides control over suppression using a method SetSuppress. We can use this according to the value of a new “Suppress” variable.
