circleci failing after bumping .circleci/config.yml file required go version to 1.15

There appears to be things happening over the repo, particularly in the device implementations that the 1.15 compiler doesn’t like. Failed tests can be reproduced by running “go test --tags circleci ./…” over the av repo.
