RTSP (Real Time Streaming Protocol) is a common video streaming protocol used by webcams. Specifically, such webcams are RTSP servers.

Implementing an RTSP client would enable a wide range of streaming webcams to be supported (including the GeoVision H.265 IP cameras we have been testing).

When you say RTMP, do you mean to say RTSP ? and also we would be implementing an RTSP client right ? The geovisions would be the servers in this setup ?
