This was observed using a 5kOhm:155kOhm (1:31) voltage divider.

It turns out that these voltage fluctuations are real, and are due to power surges due to EEPROM writing whenever the ESP comes out of deep sleep mode, which was due to Issue ~~#21~~. With the latter fixed, the voltage fluctuations vanish.
