index.html: Site dropdown shows site when no site selected.

On the VidGrind home page the site selection dropdown menu shows which site is selected. The issue is that before a user has selected a site, the first site in the list is shown as selected however it is not actually selected. This means that on the device and search page a user sees no devices to select from.

This can be worked around if a user has more than one site, they can select another site then back to the first if they choose. However this is a critical bug for users that only have one site since they cannot select another site therefore cannot properly select their one and only site.

The easiest fix may be to simply make the first menu option “- Select site -” which is not associated with a site.

I agree that’s how it should be. We don’t really need to automatically select the first site.

That is what we have on the netreceiver sites page and that works well.

We should be able to add a “-Select Site-” name to the names list in the populateSiteMenu JS (https://bitbucket.org/ausocean/vidgrind/src/44f9ab9790c07f524cd2a83ac72ca5d68c469688/t/index.html#lines-22:51) and have it appear at top.
