Stack overflow

Issue #37 resolved

Hi,

it seems that much content in the macro kills it and we get a stack overflow:

2013-09-10 14:35:31,036 WARN [TP-Processor30] [plugins.numberedheadings.macro.XHTMLNumberedHeadingsMacro] execute The Numbered Headings plugin threw an unexpected exception... -- url: /rest/tinymce/1/macro/preview | userName: marcel.koelbel | referer: https://confluence.bln.native-instruments.de/pages/editpage.action?pageId=xxxxxxx java.lang.StackOverflowError at java.util.regex.Pattern$CharProperty.match(Unknown Source) at java.util.regex.Pattern$Branch.match(Unknown Source) at java.util.regex.Pattern$GroupHead.match(Unknown Source) at java.util.regex.Pattern$LazyLoop.match(Unknown Source) at java.util.regex.Pattern$GroupTail.match(Unknown Source) at java.util.regex.Pattern$BranchConn.match(Unknown Source) at java.util.regex.Pattern$CharProperty.match(Unknown Source) at java.util.regex.Pattern$Branch.match(Unknown Source) at java.util.regex.Pattern$GroupHead.match(Unknown Source) [...]

Is there a max. length of content the macro can work with?

Best regards, Marcel

    Hi Marcel,

There shouldn't be a limit on the content size. What is the size of the content when you get this error?

    Hi Tomas,

it is a lot, but worked before our update to confluence 5.2: ~11.500 words, ~65.300 characters

Hmm.. 65.300 characters isn't that much. Did you upgrade Numbered Headings when upgrading to 5.2? If so, from which version to which?

I'm not sure which version we used before the update (Confluence 4.xx). Now it is the current version 2.4.0
