Mac - output QT - black or strange artefacts

Hey guys i'm trying to output some quick times from some magic lantern raw 2.0 files. I can't seem to get it output something useful. The results vary from a quicktime with black, or a some strange artefacts:

Is this with version 1.2.3? Have you used earlier versions of MlRawViewer without the artifacts, or this the first time you have tried? Does it happen with all MLV files, or only some?

Hello Andrew thank you for writing back to me.

I'm using the current version in the first time I've used the app. This is happening with all the files I've recorded today. Perhaps I should try to record without the metadata?

Still not enough information to diagnose this.

1. The image link you posted is still broken so I haven't seen how the problem looks

2. Are you using .RAW or .MLV format, and from what camera, resolution and frame rate

3. What version of Magic Lantern are you using?

4. What GPU, CPU and how much RAM does your Mac have?

5. Do the files convert fine in other programs?

6. If you convert the files to DNGs do they look ok?

7. Please try earlier versions of MlRawViewer, say 1.1.7, and say if the problem still happens there. If not, try different versions until you can say in which version the problem was introduced.
