Playback too fast after quality switch

When drop-frames is turned off, when switching from high to low-res preview, playback speed temporarily runs faster than realtime. After a second or two, it returns to realtime. The amount of time it runs too fast seems to depend on how long it was previously playing at high-res, possibly suggesting that some factor or variable is not being recalculated on the transition.
