run on hackintosh 10.8.5 MRV start, and there also disappears

Not enough info. You have to drag your videos onto the icon. Not just double click it.

Closing, assuming this was a misunderstanding of the app usage. 1.1.2 now opens a dialog when launched without a file so should not happen again.
