Highlights in Resolve are PINK
hello baland!
MLRAWVIEWER 1.2.2. i have read that premiere pink highlight problem, but now i thing it has nothing to do with premiere alone, cause i have the same problem with davinci resolve 11. see the screenshot i have added. when i crank up the exposure the overexposed areas get that pink cast.. ??
thank you.

repo owner A different highlight recovery algorithm is used when the stripe preprocessing is active. That's the cause of the problem here. I need to fix it.

This is btw the same issue as #66.
-
repo owner No, it isn't the same issue, quite.
This is a problem with the newer highlight recovery algorithm. #66 was more a general problem with highlight recovery on coloured objects - especially green - which cannot have colour correctly recovered because the information is lost/clpped.
-
repo owner I probably found the bug now. Highlight recovery was active when exporting DNGs with stripe correction, when it should have been disabled.

repo owner - changed status to resolved
Should be resolved in 1.2.3. Please let me know in case it is still a problem.

I have the same problem. Seems to have somthing to do with the stripe/hot-pixel correction together with a overexposed scene.
Try export the sequence without stripe/hotpixel-correction on. That solves it for me (even though I love the result of that clean up function).
