WebHelpers Home

WebHelpers is a library of helper functions intended to make writing web applications easier. It's the standard function library for Pylons and TurboGears 2 but can be used with any framework. It also contains a large number of functions not specific to the web, including text processing, number formatting, date calculations, container objects, etc.

The current version is 0.6.4. A 1.0 beta will be appearing soon.

Online documentation is hosted at the Pylons site, or see the docstrings in the source code which are identical.

Questions or feedback about WebHelpers can be submitted to the pylons-discuss mailing list.

WebHelpers does not have any dependencies, but certain helpers depend on Routes or other Python packages as described in the helpers' docstrings.
