Can't equip leather armor after 2.0.206.26 patch

Started a new game after the major content patch. I can’t equip leather armor. It says I need another free body slot. I can equip any other armor I’ve found so far.

Edit: After finding a second leather armor, I can equip the new one, but still can’t equip the old. Attached save file.
