Grit gate forcefield didn't raise

I was in Grit Gate before completing Golgatha so stuck outside the door. I walked south and aggro’d waydroids, then ran back and took the droid scrambler out of a chest. Waydroids were still chasing me and all showed up. Then I realized the forcefield was down and I and the waydroids (quickly dispatched by bears) could just walk in.
