this causes an issue when stripping formatting for sorting mod titles, as some wrap their titles in curly braces

Empty string is the correct result; display will be consistent with this (showing nothing) in next update.

I don't know why mod writers feel they need to be making the names of their mods degenerate markup, but they need to stop.
