<pokedragonboy> And hey, another one!
Bug: Fire effect from Flaming Ray attacks is always visible (including from other z-levels, behind walls, etc.)
Version: 2.0.206.43 (Mac)
Expected Behavior: Fire effects will be visible only when the player can see one of the tiles it passes throughDetails: I'm going through the asphalt mines and am seeing Flaming Rays from fire snouts who are behind walls, on other z-levels, etc. How far you are from them (both horizontally and vertically) seems to have no effect on whether you see the effects. This might also happen with the other attack effects that got added (it also happens for the gunshot effect, at least).
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Make new character, go to empty area of salt desert
2. Use wish to turn on calm mode and god mode
3. Use wish to spawn in a bunch of fire snouts and a bunch of goatfolk
4. Turn off calm mode while standing between the two groups (so that the fire snouts shoot at you and hit the goatfolk on the other side)
5. Use wish to go down 1 z-level
6. Wait 1 turn repeatedlyYou should see a bunch of flaming ray effects as the fire snouts fight the goatfolk on the z-level above.
(This process also works if you just make a big fulcrete box and have the fire snouts and goatfolk fight inside it, so they are just behind a wall instead of on a whole different z-level)
