Fire effects cause the game to hang
Was trying out a fire-based build using debug commands, when i ran into this bug. Using Pyrokinesis from Cathedra with Ruby Tracery the game will often hang for a long time (often seemingly indefinitely).
Steps to reproduce:
- Start a game in Joppa with any True-Kin character.
- Wish “cyber”, “cyber”, “cathedra with ruby tracery”, “high-energy thermo cask”, “antimatter cell”, “cool”
- Identify and install/equip cathedra and cask (powered with the cell).
- Run around in the marshes and spam pyrokinesis. Preferably find a reasonably crowded spot with multiple glowpads and burn them.
Alternatively, load up the attached save and start spamming pyrokinesis.
Observed result: Game eventually hangs, playing the “burning” sound effect on loop. Sometimes it will only hang for a long time, but most often it is seemingly indefinitely. To me it looks like some kind of fire/heat calculation that diverges, but I wouldn’t know.
I believe I also encountered the bug using Flame Breath from Concentrated Flamebeard Paste, but I haven’t tried to reproduce it.
I’m running version 2.0.206.43 on Steam and Linux.
