Message (jump):

<bad_emperor> Is it intentional that the astral friction aura in tomb of the eaters prevents you from returning to your original body if it receives damage during domination?

I entered precognition (just to be safe), dominated a cherub in the tomb (both the dominated and dominating bodies are astrally tethered) and attacked 3 other cherubs for research purposes. They aggroed on my original body and every time they damaged it I got the message that the astral burden aura prevents something from happening, which blocked domination from being broken and the control did not return to my original body even after it received damage multiple times. After about 5 turns my dominating body was killed and my consciousness was stranded in the dominated body. I was stranded in the cherub and could not end precognition, because it was initiated by my original body that was killed (this part clearly functioned as intended, just mentioning it here for dramatization purposes).

This is potentially a ⛲ , but I'm not sure astral burden is really supposed to block domination from being broken. Domination is not a normality-related effect after all, it's a consciousness transfer. If domination is indeed supposed to be affected by astral burdening, should it also be affected by nulling items, onthological anchors and normality effects?
