as early as level 8, despite the fact that they can be quite dangerous to players well after that point (and in fact, players don't frequently encounter tumbling pods before level 8 anyways). It would be nice if they had aGetDifficultyEvaluationEvent
override similar to stat saps'SapOnPenetration
to make them look tougher for relevant automation options (e.g., my character keeps walking into large groups of tumbling pods because I ignore trivial enemies by default.)More generally, having a dedicated
DifficultyEvaluation
or similar part to give creatures a static minimum difficulty level and/or appear as a different level might be desirable since there is a handful of other creatures that this could possibly apply to. It'd also be nice from an XML modding perspective (not that creating a small part with aGetDifficultyEvaluationEvent
handler is awfully difficult).
