Cannot exit golem. Exit pilot seat skill is disabled.

Tried to leave my golem on the world map, I got a popup message saying it wasn’t allowed. So I went back to the seat and went into Joppa. Now I can’t exit the pilot seat. Notice how the exit pilot seat button is disabled and unpiloted is one of the active effects. Eject does not work either.

Managed to fix the issue for myself by using wish swap to a follower and then having the follower enter the cockpit so I could swap back to my original body
