The implant ‘sparks’ when it is contested by normality, but if it’s ever contested, this contest will repeat for each time the scope is invoked. In this example (one page of 3), I threw a geomagnetic disk with several range enhancements to kill a plastronoid, and when it proceeded to loop around the room, I took about 60 damage from the effect.
