Fungal infection cure with knollworm corpse and blood doesn't work

Corpus Choliys gives the random fungal infection cure liquid as blood and the corpse as ‘raw knollworm corpse’. Eating the knollworm corpse doesn’t trigger the ‘You feel a little queasy' message but instead triggers an ‘Ugh, you feel sick’ message. Applying the cure after eating the corpse triggers the ‘Your skin itches furiously’ message.

Save file to reproduce is attached with the relevant items in player inventory and player famished.
