Flaming mob not trying to save itself

I pushed a memory eater into lava and backed off and it stayed put burning up. It won’t move out of the lava or into the adjacent water pool to save itself. I expected it to have basic self preservation. Save attached.

Actually it may have been staying put because it was trying to extinguish the fire. I might suggest it get out of the lava first if it can.
